Don’t try to push it out
Using tweezers, glue or a hairpin often pushes the broken piece deeper or damages the pins, turning a quick extraction into a cylinder replacement. Leave the lock as it is and call us — keep the other half of the key, as it helps.
Why keys break
Keys usually break because of a worn copy, a stiff cylinder or a door that is misaligned so the bolt drags. After extraction we check the cause, so the problem does not happen again with the next key.
