Slammed shut vs. locked with the key
If the door has simply closed on the latch (“puerta solo cerrada de golpe”), it can very often be opened quickly without any damage. If it was locked with the key or has multiple bolts, the process takes longer and depends on the cylinder. Telling us this when you call helps us estimate the job accurately.
Armoured and high-security doors
Many villas and apartments on the coast have armoured doors with multi-point locks and anti-bump, anti-snap cylinders. These are designed to resist forced entry, so opening them professionally requires specialist tools and experience. Where a cylinder must be removed, we replace it with an equivalent or higher-grade one.
